Biography:

I was born and broughtup in a warm country, India. I have completed my Bachelor's degree - B.S.Physician Assistant in Cardiac Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. After having decided to switch from Clinical Cardiology in to Neuroscience Research, I did my MRes- Medical and Molecular Biosciences in Neuroscience from Newcastle University, UK. The project I worked under Motor Learning helped me to sustain my field of interest in Sensory Motor Neuroscience. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18667540

 I was interested in examining the coordination of whole body movements with visual cues to improvise visuo-motor learning.We provided different kind of visual feedback and target cues while performing a voluntary postural sway task. We also tested the transfer of learning from visuo-motor workspace to audiomotorworkspace.

Our findings will facilitate the development of new protocols for motor and balance rehabilitation tools.
